It's sad to see an iconic independent music venue like Bottom of the Hill saying goodbye. Places like this have played such an important role in supporting underground rock bands and bringing local music communities together. Having Earthless, Terry Gross Band, and Carlton Melton involved makes this farewell especially meaningful. It also highlights how important connections between independent venues, promoters, and artists are for keeping live music alive. For people working on the organizational side of music events, https://refinderly.com/who-uses-refinderly provides some insight into how different professionals use online research tools to find publicly available business contacts. Hopefully the spirit of Bottom of the Hill will live on through other independent venues.
This post gives a useful introduction to local network settings. Anyone researching 192.168.11 can learn more by checking their router's documentation and confirming which address is actually assigned as the local administration gateway.
Marking the farewell to Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco on 11/20, with Terry Gross Band and Carlton Melton joining, gives the show a proper sense of occasion. The decision to honour a venue rather than just announce a date says a lot about the local scene. Music and creative media tools of the kind catalogued at AI Fruit often serve that same documentation impulse.
